Our Mission

Sojourners Care Network, a nonprofit organization rooted in Appalachian Ohio,

 empowers young people to become healthy, responsible, and productive citizens

 now and in the future.

Our Vision

We envision a day when no young person is considered at-risk, deficient,

or a problem to be solved.  Rather, young people will be seen as partners in

the development of themselves and their communities.

Our Philosophy

We believe that involving young people in their community’s nonprofit and

faith-based organizations through service learning, volunteerism, and leadership is

both a powerful youth development strategy and a serious and vital approach

to economic and community development.
